AWS certification support for a global beverage company
Challenge
A global beverage company has set a goal to achieve Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) certification for its manufacturing sites located in water-stressed basins by 2030, in order to reduce its water-related impacts. The client lacked the internal capacity at these sites to effectively implement the AWS Standard and needed support to build site-level capability and establish a clear pathway to certification.
Inogen Solution
Inogen Alliance, led by Antea Group USA, delivered an online training session for the client's local site teams in Uganda and Brazil to build their internal capacity for AWS implementation. The training covered the importance of water stewardship, the steps of the AWS Standard, and the process for applying for and achieving AWS certification. Following the training, Antea Group USA, in partnership with Antea Group Brazil, conducted an AWS gap assessment to take inventory of the actions each site had already taken toward certification readiness. The team then developed a tailored action plan for each site, outlining the remaining steps required to complete certification.
Client Benefits
The support provided by the team brought the client closer to achieving its public-facing goal of AWS certification for its water-stressed manufacturing sites by 2030. Implementing the AWS Standard at these sites reduces the physical, regulatory, and social water-related risks that may affect operations.
