Site Investigation and Remediation Strategy for a London Data Center Development

The Client required detailed site investigation and environmental risk assessment to supplement the findings of previous site feasibility studies. Following a change in the proposed development from a warehouse to a data centre, the assessment programme needed to be accelerated to confirm ground and groundwater conditions, identify any additional environmental requirements and develop remediation strategies where required. The work was undertaken to support the revised planning application within a constrained programme.

Antea Group UK built on the findings of previous investigations to develop a targeted site investigation strategy, complete intrusive works and assess environmental risks associated with the proposed development. The findings were used to develop an appropriate remediation strategy, where required, providing the evidence needed to support the planning application and demonstrate to regulators that environmental risks could be effectively managed.
